Last Thursday morning, June 12, Javier Matías, a fellow of the Chair of Health and Pain, obtained his PhD degree from the University of Malaga. This title was obtained after successfully defending his doctoral thesis entitled: "Psychosocial Factors in the Experience of Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain" for which he also obtained the international mention of doctoral thesis.

The thesis was supervised by Alejandro Luque Suárez, director of the Chair. The examining board was composed of: Jerónimo García Romero, María del Carmen García Ríos and Giacomo Rossettini.
