Training activity on chronic pain management at the Center for Active Participation of the Elderly in Cártama, Málaga.

On the morning of Wednesday, November 11, a training course on pain education and management of chronic pain situations was held at the facilities of the Active Participation Center for the Elderly (CPA) in the town of Cártama, in the province of Malaga. In it, the users had the opportunity to receive information based on the most updated evidence on how to manage their pain and, in addition, they were able to actively participate and resolve all the necessary doubts about their pain.

This activity is part of a series of activities to transfer information on pain management to society by the Chair of Health and Pain of the University of Malaga, in collaboration with the Unicaja Foundation. It is part of the "Older Adults and Chronic Pain" initiative, whose main objective is to provide Malaga society with evidence-based tools to help them manage their pain.
