Training event on managing childhood pain in the school environment for the educational community of CEIP Gregorio Marañón (La Cala del Moral, Málaga)
On the afternoon of Tuesday, March 10, a training event on managing childhood pain in the school environment was held at the CEIP Gregorio Marañón school (La Cala del Moral, Malaga). This event, which is part of the "Child Pain at School" initiative of the Chair of Health and Pain at the University of Málaga in collaboration with the Unicaja Foundation, provided members of the school's educational community with guidelines and tools for managing pain in different situations that may arise in the school context. In addition, they were trained in the basics of evidence-based education in pain neurophysiology and were able to resolve any doubts they had in their specific situations.
This activity also served as the launch of the center's "Gregorio Conecta" program, a multifaceted educational program that promotes different spaces for parents, family members, and teachers to grow, learn, and share knowledge.
